Day by day itinerary
Day 1: Flight Zanzibar to Kogatende
Your journey begins with a scenic flight from Zanzibar to Kogatende, located in the northern Serengeti. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your lodge where you can relax and soak in the stunning surroundings. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive to familiarize yourself with the area. The northern Serengeti is renowned for its abundant wildlife, including elephants, lions, and leopards. As the sun sets, return to your lodge for a delightful dinner and an evening under the stars.

Day 2: Full Day River Crossing
Today is dedicated to one of nature’s most spectacular events: the Great Migration River crossing. Set out early to the Mara River, where thousands of wildebeest and zebras brave the crocodile-infested waters in their annual migration. Witnessing this dramatic and chaotic event is an unforgettable experience. Throughout the day, your guide will position you in the best spots to observe the crossings and other wildlife interactions. Return to your lodge in the evening, filled with the day’s incredible sights and sounds.

Day 3: Flight Kogatende to Central Serengeti
After breakfast, catch a flight from Kogatende to the Central Serengeti, a region famed for its diverse habitats and abundant wildlife. Upon arrival, transfer to your new lodge and prepare for an afternoon game drive. The Central Serengeti’s expansive plains are home to large populations of predators and herbivores. Your guide will help you spot prides of lions, cheetahs, and a variety of antelope species. As the day ends, enjoy dinner and a restful night at your lodge.

Day 4: Full Day Game Drive in Central Serengeti
Spend the entire day exploring the Central Serengeti. This area is a wildlife enthusiast’s paradise, offering exceptional game viewing opportunities year-round. You’ll traverse different landscapes, from open savannas to rocky outcrops known as kopjes, which provide excellent vantage points for spotting wildlife. Your guide will share insights into animal behavior, and you might witness a thrilling chase or a serene scene of elephants grazing. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild before continuing your adventure. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and relaxation.

Day 5: Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
In the morning, take a flight from Central Serengeti to Manyara Airstrip. From there, you’ll be transferred to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Check into your lodge perched on the crater rim, offering breathtaking views of the caldera. Spend the afternoon relaxing or taking a short hike to acclimate to the altitude. Dinner will be served at your lodge, with the spectacular crater as your backdrop.

Day 6 : Ngorongoro to Zanzibar
